Crash Course

In 2011, I cofounded the award-winning YouTube channel Crash Course with John and Hank Green. I helped develop the format and shape the concise, engaging, and fun language and visuals that the show is known for. I created more than 700 episodes of this wildly popular education series over 13 years, and I produced, directed, and edited courses in World History, US History, Mythology, Religions, Economics, and many more. Crash Course is used by teachers, students, and lifelong learners around the world he world, and the videos I produced for the channel have amassed more than a billion views. Crash Course has delivered a wealth of free, accurate, and engaging videos that teachers and learners love.

Healthcare Triage is an educational YouTube channel (and sometimes podcast) focused on explaining public health, health science, health policy, and medical research. Healthcare Triage has reached tens of millions of viewers explaining everything from how health insurance works to how legalized marijuana can affect a population. Healthcare Triage was awarded the inaugural Journalism Award from the National Institute of Health Care Management in 2015. The channel has also created series and podcasts funded by the NIH, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, and many others.
